Dr Mladenko Kajtaz

DR LEAH HEISS

Dr Mladenko Kajtaz's research interests and areas of expertise include the design and analysis for additive manufacturing, product development and innovation, mechanical design, finite element analysis and multidisciplinary design optimisation. In addition to computer-aided simulation and optimisation, Dr Kajtaz is involved in developing lab models and performing a variety of mechanical tests. Areas of application include load-bearing and energy absorbing structures for assistive technologies, human body protection, sports technology and lightweight micro-vehicles. One of the primary focuses of Mladenko's current work is on the design of optimised lightweight load-bearing structures utilising additive manufacturing (3D printing) and hybrid materials.
